군은 4일 지역일자리 목표 공시제에 따라 지역의 인구 구조와 고용시장 분석을 바탕으로 ‘2022년 울진군 일자리대책 세부계획’을 수립하고 홈페이지에 공시했다.
지역일자리 목표 공시제는 지방자치단체장이 해당지역의 주민들에게 임기 중 추진할 일자리 목표 및 대책을 수립하여 공표하고, 중앙정부는 자치단체의 일자리대책이 원활하게 추진될 수 있도록 지원하고 추진성과를 확인하여 우수단체에 인센티브 등을 제공하는 사업이다.
군은 인구 감소와 함께 코로나19와 탈원전 정책 등의 지역 경제 악재로 지역 고용시장이 침체했음에도 불구하고 지난해 실적과 같은 수준으로 목표를 설정하고, 목표 달성을 위해 대상별 맞춤일자리, 특히 청년과 여성에 대한 일자리 증가에 역량을 집중할 계획이다.
백운화 일자리경제과장은 “코로나19와 러시아의 우크라이나 침공 등의 요인으로 경제전망이 불투명하고 산불로 지역경제에 큰 피해가 있었지만, 공공일자리 확대, 고용서비스 강화, 맞춤형 창업지원 등 다양한 일자리정책을 추진하여 지역 고용 위기를 벗어나겠다”며, “새 정부의 원자력 정책 변화에 발맞추어 지역 역량을 집중하고 산불피해 복구 관련 일자리사업을 발굴하여, 군민에게 안정적인 일자리를 제공하고 일자리가 있어 행복한 울진군이 되도록 최선을 다하겠다’고 말했다.
