창원특례시, 하천환경 정비 종합대책 수립

[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 창원특례시는 최근 언론을 통해 알려진 의창구 대산면 죽동천에서 발생한 오염과 관련해 관내 농촌지역 하천에 대한 관리를 종합적으로 할 것이라고 25일 기자회견을 통해 밝혔다.

시는 관련부서 및 자생단체와 함께 합동으로 실태 파악을 위한 점검을 실시해 오염이 확인된 죽동천 전 구간에 우선적으로 쓰레기 청소 및 풀베기 사업 등 환경정비를 실시하고 나머지 26개 농촌지역 지방하천에 대해서도 민·관 합동반을 편성해 환경정비를 실시할 계획이다.

하천 환경정비 시 하천주변의 불법경작, 불법소각 및 불법투기, 농사용 퇴비보관 부적정 등 불법행위에 대한 단속도 병행해 불법행위 발견 시 관련법에 따라 강력한 처벌을 할 예정이다.
