브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 균일가 생활용품점 (주)아성다이소는 사회 취약계층에 행복박스 총 1500여 개를 전달했다고 24일 밝혔다.
이번 행복박스는 주방용품과 위생용품, 청소용품 등 생활필수품으로 구성했고, 양주시청을 통해 지역 사회취약 계층에 전달됐다.
행복박스는 사회 취약계층이나 보훈가족, 소상공인, 재해로 피해를 입은 가정 등에 생필품을 전달하는 다이소의 대표 사회공헌 사업으로, 대상에 따라 필요한 구성품을 달리해 전달한다.
한편, 다이소는 가정의 달을 맞아 사회 취약계층 등 도움이 필요한 분들에게 알맞은 행복박스를 전달했다. 지난 2일 울진 산불피해 지역 이재민에 생필품을 전달을 시작으로, 4일 한부모 가정, 보호종료아동 등에 행복박스 2000여 개, 6일 요양시설에서 생활하는 노숙인들에게 행복박스 1000개, 11일 구세군을 통해 전국 곳곳 저소득 가정에 행복박스 3000여 개를 전달하는 등 가정의 달 사회공헌 활동을 전개했다.
다이소 관계자는 “모두가 따뜻한 일상을 보내는데 조금이나마 보탬이 되고자 이번 행복박스를 준비하게 됐다”며 “앞으로도 다이소는 행복박스 등과 함께 지역사회에 대한 지원을 계속할 계획이다”고 전했다.
