[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 경상남도의회는 도의원과 의회사무처 직원 60여명은 25일, 봄철 농번기를 맞아 농촌인구 감소와 고령화 등으로 일손이 부족한 밀양시 산내면 사과 재배 농가와 의령군 유곡면 마늘 재배 농가를 방문해 농촌일손돕기 활동을 펼쳤다.
경상남도의회는 봄과 가을, 매년 2회 이상 인력난을 겪는 농가를 찾아 부족한 일손을 지원하고 있는데, 이번 농촌일손돕기는 11대 도의원 임기 중 마지막 봉사활동으로 밀양과 의령 2개 지역에서 동시에 실시했다.
