연세의료원이 희망브리지 전국재해구호협회에 동해안 산불 성금 1억 1천375만 5천450원을 기부했다.
희망브리지 전국재해구호협회(회장 송필호)는 지난 8일 연세의료원(의료원장 윤동섭)이 동해안 산불 피해 주민들의 회복을 위해 써달라며 성금 1억 1천375만 5천450원을 맡겨왔다고 9일 밝혔다.
연세의료원은 노사공익기금 1억원과 교직원 부활절 헌금을 더해 기부금을 마련했다.
희망브리지는 구호물품 전달, 주택피해 이웃 지원을 비롯한 산불피해 복구에 성금을 사용할 계획이다.
연세의료원 관계자는 “전국이 가뭄과 산불로 고생하고 있다. 코로나19 시국, 병원 노동자에게 보내주신 응원과 따뜻한 마음을 조금이나마 나눌 수 있는 계기가 되길 바란다”면서 “연세의료원은 앞으로도 연대와 나눔을 실천하겠다”고 전했다.
희망브리지 김정희 사무총장은 “정성을 모아주신 연세의료원 임직원분들께 감사드린다”며 “갑작스러운 재난으로 삶의 터전을 잃은 이웃들이 하루빨리 일상을 되찾을 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
