브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 경희의료원은 공무원연금공단과 지난 16일 메타버스를 활용해 연금수급자를 위한 개인별 맞춤형 건강상담을 진행했다고 17일 밝혔다.
경희의료원은 올 5월부터 국내 최초로 메타버스를 활용한 건강상담을 운영해오며 기존 유튜브를 통한 일방적인 소통의 비대면 플랫폼의 한계를 개선해 참석자와 상호 간 소통을 위한 노력을 기울여왔다.
이번 공무원연금공단과의 첫 번째 메타버스 건강상담은 뇌혈관질환의 명의인 경희대병원 신경외과 최석근 교수가 참여해 ‘꼭! 주의해야 할 두통’을 주제로 참여자들과 메타버스를 통한 양방향 심도 있는 소통을 이뤄냈다.
경희의료원 신경외과 최석근 교수(홍보실장)는 “공무원연금공단과 유튜브 라이브상담 방송을 약 2년간 진행해오면서 참여자와 거리를 좁히기 위한 방안을 고민했다”며 “홍보실에서 자체 기획, 제작한 메타버스 플랫폼을 이용한 건강상담이 참여자들의 이해도와 만족도를 향상시킨 것 같아 보람을 느낀다”고 전했다.
한편, 경희의료원과 공무원연금공단은 경희대학교 한의의과대학 이재동 학장(경희대한방병원 침구과/비만센터 교수)이 중심이 돼 이수지 교수, 홍예진 교수가 함께 지난달부터 메타버스 한방건강상담을 진행해왔다. 양방상담은 6월 경희대병원 신경외과 최석근 교수를 시작으로 7월은 가정의학과 김선영 교수 등 질환별 주제에 따라 건강상담을 진행할 예정이다.
