충남교육청이 학교 운동장 소재에 대한 주기적인 유해물질 검사를 통해 안전하고 친환경적인 운동장을 조성해 나가고 있다.

검사 결과는 교육부 교체우선순위 산정 프로그램을 사용하여 ▲즉시교체 ▲순차교체 ▲정상사용 3단계로 구분되어 안내되며, 검사 결과 ‘즉시교체’ 대상교는 그 시점부터 운동장을 출입을 통제하고, 2023년도 본예산에 소재 교체공사 예산을 편성하여 교체작업을 실시할 예정이다.
김지철 교육감은 “학교 운동장의 정기적인 안전성 관리와 노후시설에 대한 적극적인 지원으로 학생들이 운동장에서 안전하게 수업받고 뛰어놀 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.
