[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 경상남도(도지사 박완수)는 오는 8일부터 30일까지 ‘연극 그 해맑은 상상’이라는 슬로건 아래 ‘제40회 대한민국연극제 밀양’과 ‘제22회 밀양공연예술축제’가 밀양시에서 공동 개최한다고 6일밝혔다.
대한민국연극제는 1983년 부산에서 개최된 전국지방연극제를 시작으로 40년의 전통을 이어온 국내 최대 연극경연 축제이다. 도내에서는 1991년 진주시, 2007년 거제시에서 개최된 이후 2022년 제40회 대한민국연극제 개최지로 밀양시가 최종 선정됐다.
