[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 제5회 경남여성한마음대회가 12일 경상남도여성단체협의회 주관으로 마산실내체육관에서 열렸다.
이날 박완수 경상도지사를 비롯 김진부 도의회의장, 김재웅 도의회 문화복지위원장, 정쌍학 문화복지부위원장, 박남용 도의원, 김주양 농협중앙회 경남본부장, 권순옥 고향을 생각하는 주부들의 모임 경상남도지회장 등 12개 회원 단체회장, 18개 시·군 여성단체협의회장과 회원 등 500여 명이 참석했다.
경남여성한마음대회는 경남 여성의 선도적인 역할을 제고하고 여성단체의 역량 및 결속력을 다지는 장으로서 이성자 회장의 개회사를 시작으로 박완수 도지사의 격려사, 차세대 여성리더 유공자 표창, 양성평등 문화 확산 홍보 퍼포먼스, 어울림 체육대회 순으로 이어졌다.

이성자 경상남도여성단체협의회 회장은 “경남의 여성리더들이 한자리에 모여 서로 소통하고 협력하여 어려운 이웃을 위해 봉사하는 계기가 마련되어 기쁘다.”면서 “앞으로도 그동안 쌓아온 경험과 지혜를 토대로 활기찬 경남 행복한 도민을 만들어가는 데 최선을 다하겠다.”라고 말했다.
박완수 도지사는 격려사를 통해 “여성의 권익 신장과 양성평등 강화를 위해 나눔과 봉사를 몸소 실천해 주신 여성리더 여러분께 감사드린다.”면서 “경남도는 여러분들과 함께 원팀이 되어 경남을 반듯하게, 전국에 으뜸가는 경남으로 만들고, 도민들이 행복지수를 높일 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
경남도는 여성 친화적 창업지원 강화, 돌봄사업 확대, 산후조리 비용 지원, 어린이집 간식비 증액 지원 등 여성들의 눈높이와 수요에 맞는 정책을 발굴하고, 다양한 여성가족 지원정책을 추진해 나갈 계획이다.
한편 경상남도여성단체협의회는 1983년에 설립해 12개 회원 단체, 22만여 명의 회원으로 구성되어 여성의 권익 증진과 사회참여 확대를 위한 교육사업, 회원단체 간 협력사업, 지역사회의 소외계층 대상나눔과 봉사활동을 펼쳐오고 있다.
