[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경남에서 일일 평균 확진자가 6월 496.3명에서 7월 1,060.9명 등 배 이상 증가하면서 코로나 재유행에 대한 대비가 시급한 실정이다.
이에 박완수 도지사가 정부에 코로나 재유행에 대비해 병상지정 가이드라인을 마련해 달라고 건의했다.
박 지사는 13일 오전 코로나19 대응 중앙재난안전대책본부 회의에 참석해 “확진자 증가에 따라 각 시도별 인구 수, 확진자 수, 입원율, 재원기간 등을 고려해 정부가 병상지정 가이드라인을 제시해주면 국비 지원이나 현장에서 일하기 수월해진다”며 이같이 말했다.
박 지사의 건의는 입원치료가 필요한 위중증, 중등증 환자의 증가에 대비해 전국 하루 확진자 발생 5만 명 단위별 정부의 병상지정 가이드라인 제시가 필요하다는 취지다.
정부가 가이드라인을 마련한다면 병상 사전 확보를 통해 위중증 환자의 즉시 병상배정 및 입원 조치, 중증화율 및 사망률 감소 등 확진자 관리가 더욱 효과적으로 이루어질 수 있다.
이날 한덕수 국무총리 역시 회의 모두발언에서 “당초 예상보다 빠르게 재유행이 시작했다”면서 “질병청이나 전문가들이 8월 중순과 9월 말 사이 하루 최대 20만 명의 확진자가 발생할 수 있다고 경고하고 있다”고 밝혔다.
이기일 중대본 제1총괄조정관(보건복지부 제2차관)은 박 지사의 건의에 대해 “지역별로 병상 현황에 편차가 있는데 12일부터 전국 상황을 조사 중”이라며 “과거 가동했던 병상을 다시 가동하는 방안을 포함해 다음주 초 병상 가이드를 제시하겠다”고 답변했다.

경남의 병상 가동률은 7월 들어 7일 10.4%, 8일 14.3%, 9일 15.6%, 10일 18.2%, 11일 19.5%, 12일 23.4%로 계속 증가추세다.
경남도는 현재 가동 중인 77병상에서 최대 820병상까지 운영할 수 있도록 자체 준비에 나선 상황이다.
박 지사는 병상 확보 대책과 함께 “코로나 재유행으로 시중에서 자가진단키트 구매가 어려운 상황”이라며 “수급 상황을 관리하고 공급을 늘려 달라”고 요청했다.
