파주시(시장 김경일)는 8월 중순부터 9월 초까지 파주 시민들을 대상으로 출산율을 높이기 위한 ‘뮤지컬 교육’을 실시한다고 밝혔다.
점점 심각해지는 저출산 문제를 해결하기 위해 시민들의 인식을 개선하고 이에 맞게 사회 전반의 제도도 정비할 계획이다.

이에 따라 파주시는 ‘백투더퓨처’ 뮤지컬 작품을 통해 인구문제의 중요성과 가족의 소중함을 전달할 예정이며, 이와 관련된 뮤지컬 교육은 파주시에 거주하는 초등학생과 그 가족을 대상으로 총 3회 진행된다.
1회차는 8월 20일 시민회관 소공연장, 2회차는 8월 27일 운정행복센터 대공연장, 3회차는 9월 3일 문산행복센터 대공연장에서 오전 11시부터 50분 동안 진행되며 각 회차별로 250명을 선착순으로 모집한다.
이번 교육은 초등학생을 대상으로 하며, 부모와 형제를 포함해 최대 2명까지 동행 가능하다.
