[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 홍남표 창원특례시장은 27일 세종시 기획재정부를 직접 찾아 내년도 국비예산 확보를 위해 박차를 가하고 있다.
홍 시장의 이번 방문은 기재부의 정부예산안 심사가 진행 중인 가운데 이뤄진 것으로, 김완섭 예산실장과 예산총괄심의관, 경제예산심의관, 사회예산심의관, 복지안전예산심의관, 행정국방예산심의관을 잇따라 만나 창원시 주요 국비 건의사업을 설명하고 적극적인 예산 반영을 요청했다.
이날 건의한 내년도 주요 사업은 △원자력 산업의 조기 정상화 추진 △첨단 전기자동차 신제조공정 특성화단지 조성 △친환경 전력기기 클러스터 구축 △AI·빅데이터 기반 의료·바이오 진단기기 제조 사업 △300년 전통 마산어시장 현대화사업 기본계획 수립 △창원 BRT 구축사업 △청정해수 공급시스템 구축 △5G기반 기계제조산업 메타버스 구축 △차세대 원전용 핵심 소재부품 개발센터 구축 △원전 중소기업 플러스 일자리사업 △진해구 고용 안정화 지원사업 △창원시립상복공원 제3봉안당 건립 △23년 풍수해 생활권 종합정비사업 △미래 우주국방 소재·부품 OPEN FAB 구축사업 등 창원에 위치한 국책기관 사업을 포함하여 총 18건으로 국비 4748억 원이다.
시는 기재부의 최종 예산심의가 끝나는 8월까지, 실국소 단위로 각 사업별 막바지 국비 확보 활동을 펼친다. 국회 상임위 및 예결위 심의 기간에도 지역 국회의원과의 연계를 통해 내년도 국비 확보에 최선을 다할 계획이다.
