김영식 고양시의회의장, 대한민국특례시의회 의장협의회장 선출

고양시의회 김영식 의장이 8월 23일 수원시에서 개최된 대한민국특례시의회 의장협의회 간담회에 참석했다.

이번 회의는 제8회 동시지방선거 이후 새롭게 출범한 각 특례시의회 의장들의 첫 회의로 김영식 고양시의회 의장, 김기정 수원시의회 의장, 윤원균 용인시의회 의장, 김이근 창원시의회 의장이 참석하였다.

이날 회의에서는 특례시의회의 인사권 및 예산권 확대, 의정활동비 인상 등 현안문제에 대해 공동 노력하기로 하였으며, 특례시의회 의장협의회 회의는 2개월에 1번씩 개최하기로 의견을 모았다.

또한, 앞으로 특례시의회 의장협의회를 이끌어갈 임원을 선출하였으며, 회장은 만장일치로 김영식 고양시의회 의장이, 대변인은 윤원균 용인시 의장이 선출 되었다.
