브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 쌍용자동차가 KG그룹의 품안으로 들어간다.
서울회생법원은 26일 서울법원종합청사에서 쌍용차 회생계획안 심리 및 결의를 위한 관계인집회를 열고 채권자와 주주들의 표결을 거친 결과, 회생계획안은 가결됐다.
회생계획안은 회생담보권자 100%, 회생채권자 95.04%, 출석한 주주 100%의 동의를 얻었다.
이에 따라 지난해 4월부터 기업 회생절차를 밟아온 쌍용자동차와 KG그룹간 기업결합은 마무리됐다.
쌍용차가 두번째 법정관리를 시작한지 1년 8개월만이자, KG그룹을 새 주인으로 낙점한지 3개월 만이다.
KG그룹의 인수가 최종 마무리됨에 따라 쌍용차의 경영 정상화는 본격적으로 속도를 낼 것으로 전망된다.

곽재선 KG그룹 회장은 이날 회생계획안 법원 인가 직후 기자들과 만나 "많은 분들이 동의해주시고 다시 한번 회생하라고 응원해주셔서 열심히 하려고 한다"며 "저와 우리 임직원 모두 마지막 기회라 생각하고, 국민들께 희망을 드리도록 노력하겠다"고 각오를 다졌다.
곽재선 회장은 "오늘 50여년전 박태준 회장님이 포스코를 건설할 때 '성공하지 못하면 우리 모두 다 우향후해서 포항 앞바다에 빠져죽자'고 했던 정신이 생각났다"며 "이번이 마지막 기회라고 생각한다"고 다짐했다.
그는 이어 쌍용차 정상화 방안을 묻는 질문에 "한두가지로 될 문제가 아니니 저와 직원들이 힘을 합쳐서 차곡차곡 의견을 내놓겠다"고 했고, 전기차 생산 계획에 대해선 "내년에 전기차가 나올 것으로 보고 전기차 플랫폼을 빨리 시작해서 준비를 차곡차곡 하겠다"고 말했다.
그러면서 "곳곳에 고칠부분들도 있고 증명해야할 부분도 있지만 쌍용차는 충분히 정상화할 수 있을것이라 생각하고 곧 여러분께 결과를 보여드릴 수 있을 것이라 생각한다"고 덧붙였다.
쌍용차 정용원 관리인도 관계인집회 의견 진술에서 "회생절차가 개시된 이후 쌍용차는 무급휴직, 급여 및 상여금 삭감, 복지후생 중단 등 자구계획을 성실히 이행하는 한편 신제품 개발 등 회사의 회생을 위해 총력을 기울여 왔다"며 "그 결과 쌍용차는 금년 7월 출시한 토레스가 현재 계약 물량이 6만여 대를 돌파하는 등 돌풍을 일으키고 있으며, 영업적자도 전년 대비 큰 폭으로 감소하는 등 회생을 위한 한걸음을 착실하게 나가고 있다"고 설명했다.

He added, "There are parts to be fixed and parts to prove, but I think Ssangyong will be able to normalize enough and show you the results soon."
"Since the rehabilitation process began, Ssangyong has faithfully implemented its self-rescue plans such as unpaid leave, reduced salaries and bonuses, and discontinued welfare benefits," Ssangyong Motor said in a statement.
