한국농어촌공사 고양지사가 6일 고양시 일산동구 고봉동 행정복지센터에서 고봉동행정복지센터(동장 이기문), 고봉동지역사회보장협의체(위원장 이종억)와 함께 사회공헌활동 공동추진을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
이날 행사는 한국농어촌공사 고양지사, 고양시 고봉동행정복지센터, 고봉동지역사회보장협의체가 상호 신뢰를 바탕으로 기관간 사회복지네트워크를 구축해 지역사회의 복지증진과 복지사각지대를 해소하기 위해 마련되었다.
이번 사회공헌 업무협약을 통해 고양지사는 고봉동행정복지센터와 상호 협력하여 지역사회 취약계층을 위한 집 고쳐주기, 재난재해 발생시 재해복구와 지역주민 복지대상자들에 대한 지원 동을 실시하고 아울러 지역 주민들에 대한 농지은행사업 등 공사사업 홍보도 적극 추진할 계획이다.
김광석 지사장은 “이번 사회공헌 업무협약이 복지 사각지대에 있는 취약계층에게 실질적이고 많은 도움이 될 수 있기를 바란다며, 고양지사는 앞으로 지역 유관기관과 유기적인 협력관계를 통해 다양하고 실효성 있는 사회공헌활동을 추진하여 사회적 책임을 다하는 공기업으로서 ESG경영 실천에 최선을 다할 것”이라고 말했다.[고양=박정호기자]
