[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 14일 오후 3시 시민홀에서 ‘2022 창원시보 시민기자 워크숍’을 개최했다.
워크숍은 문화콘서트, 공개모집을 통해 선발된 시민기자 위촉식, 전문성 강화를 위한 특강으로 진행됐다.
시는 지난 8월부터 9월까지 공개모집을 통해 10대부터 60대까지 다양한 연령층의 40명을 창원시보 시민기자로 선발했다.
시민기자는 향후 2년간 활동하며, 폭넓은 연령대로 구성된 만큼 여러 세대가 공감할 수 있는 다양한 소식을 전할 것으로 기대된다.
특강은 ‘시민기자의 기사 작성법 및 홍보전략’이라는 주제로 인문경영연구소 조강호 소장이 강연했다. 조 강사는 보도자료 작성법, 사진 촬영 기법 등과 함께 다변화된 시대의 흐름에 맞는 홍보 방법에 대해 강조했다.
최연소 시민기자로 선발된 창원여자중학교 송은유 시민기자는 “창원시보 시민기자가 된 것이 자랑스럽고, 좋은 강의를 들을 수 있어서 유익했다”며 “친구들과 청소년들이 공감하고 미소 지을 수 있는 소식들을 많이 알리겠다”는 당찬 포부도 밝혔다.
안경원 제1부시장은 “창원시보는 주요 시정과 다양한 생활 정보를 시민들에게 전달하는 창원특례시의 대표 소식지여서, 시민과 밀접한 소통을 하고 창원 구석구석의 소식을 알리는 데 시민기자들의 역할이 매우 중요하다”며 “앞으로 시민기자들이 발로 뛰며 취재한 좋은 소식들이 많이 실릴 수 있도록 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 밝혔다.
