[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 일반성면 운천리 336번지 일원에 조성된 일반성 체육시설 개장식을 15일 개최했다.
이날 개장식에는 조규일 진주시장과 지역주민 등 50여 명이 참석한 가운데 국민의례를 시작으로 경과보고, 기념사, 축사와 테이프 커팅 순으로 진행됐다.
일반성 체육시설은 부지 2117㎡에 풋살장 1면, 족구장 1면으로 구성, 조명시설을 갖춰 야간에도 체육활동을 할 수 있게 조성했으며, 주차장과 쉼터, 야외운동기구 등 이용자한 편의시설도 갖추고 있다.
조규일 진주시장은 “일반성 체육시설이 운동으로 스트레스도 날리고 생활의 활력을 찾는 공간이 되기를 바란다”며“동부 5개면 주민들의 소통과 화합의 장으로 자리매김했으면 좋겠다”고 말했다.
