세종시, 산하 공공기관 혁신 추진

세종시 산하 공공기관은 도시교통공사, 시설관리공단, 문화재단, 로컬푸드(주), 인재평생교육진흥원, 사회서비스원, 테크노파크, 신용보증재단 등이 있다.

세종시가 이들 공공기관의 대시민 서비스 품질 향상을 위해 산하 공공기관에 대한 혁신을 추진한다고 밝혔다.

세종시는 정부 국정과제인 공공기관 혁신을 지방 공공기관까지 확산시키기 위해 행안부 ‘지방공공기관 혁신 가이드라인’에 따라 시 산하 공공기관의 자발적인 혁신, 경영효율화를 지원하고, 이를 점검·조정할 계획이다.

이를 위해 세종시는 기획조정실장을 단장으로 하는 혁신추진단을 구성하고, 산하 기관 8곳을 대상으로 오는 10월까지 최종 혁신대책을 수립·추진한다.

중점 추진사항은 사업 성과분석을 통해 비효율사업을 통·폐합하는 등 시정4기 정책 방향에 맞게 사업구조를 개편하고 기관 내 기능 조정 및 인력 재배치, 경영효율화 등 기관별 혁신대책을 마련하는 것이다.

이를 위해 19일 시청 대회의실에서 대상 기관 관계자들을 대상으로 설명회를 열어 산하 공공기관의 혁신 추진을 지원할 예정이다.
