브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= KB국민은행은 신분증 없이 국내선 탑승수속이 가능한 ‘KB바이오인증 공항연계 서비스’를 시행한다고 26일 밝혔다.
‘KB바이오인증 공항연계 서비스’는 KB국민은행에 등록된 바이오정보(손바닥정맥)를 이용해 신분증 없이 휴대폰번호 입력 후 바이오인증을 통해 간편하게 탑승수속이 가능한 서비스다. 국내 14개 공항에서 국내선 탑승수속 시 이용할 수 있으며 영업점 창구, KB모바일브랜치, STM을 통해 서비스 등록이 가능하다.
바이오정보(손바닥정맥)는 손바닥 표피 아래 사람마다 고유한 혈관 특성을 활용한 본인인증 방식으로 인증 정확도와 보안성이 높다. KB국민은행은 바이오정보를 활용해 신분증·통장·카드 없이 은행 제신고 업무 및 창구, 자동화기기에서 출금이 가능한 서비스를 제공하고 있다.
KB국민은행 관계자는 “KB바이오인증 공항연계 서비스는 은행에 등록된 바이오정보를 비금융 분야와 연계하여 이용하는 첫 사례다”며 “향후 비금융 분야와의 연계 서비스를 확대해 더욱 편리한 서비스를 제공하겠다”고 말했다.
