[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시장은 27일 내년도 국비예산 확보 및 주요 현안 건의를 위해 국회를 찾았다.
홍남표 창원특례시장의 이번 방문은 국회의 정부예산안 심사가 시작되기 전 선제적으로 이뤄졌다.
이날 박대출 기획재정위원장, 김정재 국토교통위원회 간사, 정점식·이인선·이주환 예산결산특별위원을 만나 창원시 주요 국비 건의사업을 설명하고 적극적인 예산 반영을 요청했다.
이날 건의한 내년도 주요 사업은 △AI·빅데이터 기반 의료·바이오 진단기기 제조 △산업위기대응특별지역 연착륙 지원사업 △차세대 첨단 복합빔 조사시설 구축 △창원시립상복공원 제3봉안당 건립 △미래 항공모빌리티(AAM)복합연구센터 구축사업 △창원 BRT 구축사업 △창원 서마산IC 진출입로 개선 타당성조사용역 사업 △합성1지구 도시재생 뉴딜사업 △대산동읍 하수관로 설치공사 △첨단장비-로봇 디지털제조혁신 지원사업 △300년 전통 마산어시장 현대화사업 기본계획 수립 △청정해수 공급시스템 구축사업을 포함해 총 12건, 총사업비 6388억원(국비 5263억원)이고, 2023년 국비는 217억원이다.
시정 현안으로 고용위기지역 지정 추가 연장을 위한 법령 개정을 건의했다.
시는 국회의 최종 예산심의가 끝나는 11월까지, 실국소 단위로 각 사업별 막바지 국비 확보 활동을 펼치고 국회 상임위 및 예결위 심의 기간에도 지역 국회의원과의 연계를 통해 내년도 국비 확보에 최선을 다할 계획이라고 전했다.
홍 시장은 “건의한 사업들은 새 정부와 민선 8기 시정에서 핵심적으로 추진하고자 하는 주요사업”이라며 “특히 4차 산업혁명을 통한 지역산업 재도약, 일자리 창출, 교통 인프라 구축 등을 위한 필수요건으로 내년도 정부 예산안에 꼭 반영될 수 있도록 협조를 부탁드린다”고 말했다.
