브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 신용보증기금은 4일 보도자료를 통해 올 9월말 종료 예정이었던 ‘폐업 소상공인 부실유보 조치’를 계속해서 유지한다고 밝혔다.
이번 조치는 코로나19 장기화로 어려움이 가중된 폐업 소상공인의 채무부담 완화와 신속한 경제활동 복귀를 적극적으로 지원하기 위해 마련됐다.
특히, 신보는 부실유보 조치 대상을 기존 폐업 소상공인뿐만 아니라 최근 시행된 코로나19 경제회복 특례보증(2022년 7월), 소상공인 저금리대환 위탁보증(2022년 9월) 지원 기업까지 확대 적용해 코로나19 장기화로 경쟁력이 약화된 기업들의 실질적인 재기를 도울 예정이다.
신보 관계자는 “앞으로도 신보는 폐업 소상공인이 누적된 잠재부실 위기를 극복하고 경제활동에 신속히 복귀할 수 있도록 다양한 정책지원을 펼쳐 나갈 계획이다”고 전했다.
