창원 북면 마금산온천축제 3년 만에 재개

[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 ‘2022 마금산온천축제’를 22일부터 23일까지 의창구 북면 마금산온천관광단지 일원에서 개최한다고 19일 밝혔다.

창원의 대표적인 온천 관광지인 북면 온천 활성화를 위해 지난 2007년부터 열린 마금산온천축제는 코로나 19로 중단되었다가 3년 만에 마금산온천축제추진위원회 주최로 다시 개최된다.

관광단지 내 족욕장에서 마금산 온천수를 체험하고, 북면 단감, 막걸리, 손두부 등 특산물 시식 행사와 농산물 직판장을 통해 지역 경제 활성화에도 도움이 될 것으로 예상된다.

마금산온천은 섭씨 57도 이상의 약알칼리성 식염천으로 나트륨과 철, 칼슘, 망간 등 20여 가지 천연 미네랄을 다량 함유하고 있어 신경통, 근육통 등에 효능이 있다고 알려져 있다.
