[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 홍남표 창원특례시장은 19일, 내년도 국비예산 확보와 정책현안 건의를 위해 국회를 방문했다.
홍 시장의 국회 방문은 지난 7월 ‘국비확보 연석회의’를 시작으로 지난달 기획재정위원장과 예결위원을 만나는 등 발빠른 행보를 이어가고 있다.
이날 방문에서는 성일종 국민의힘 정책위의장과 장동혁 예산결산특별위원을 만나 창원시 주요 국비사업을 설명하고 정책현안을 건의했다.
이번 건의 사업 중 ‘AI·빅데이터 기반 의료·바이오 진단기기 제조’는 AI·빅데이터 기술을 정밀가공이 필요한 의료·바이오 진단기기 제조에 접목해 미래 신성장 동력을 확보하기 위함이다.
