브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 국토교통부는 24일 오전 0시 7분경(우리나라 시간) 대한항공 여객기(KE 631편, 인천 10월 23일 18시 35분경 출발 → 세부)가 필리핀 세부공항에 착륙 도중 발생한 활주로 이탈 사고와 관련, 국토부 항공정책실장을 반장으로 사고수습본부를 설치해 피해상황 파악 등 사고수습 및 현지 공관·항공사 등과 연락체계를 구축하는 등 사고에 대응하고 있다고 밝혔다.
국토부에 따르면 현재까지 인명피해는 없으며, 항공기는 바퀴다리 손상 등 동체 하부가 파손된 상태로 활주로 인근에 정지하고 있어 세부공항 활주로가 폐쇄된 상태다.
이번 사고와 관련해, 세부공항 운항계획이 있던 진에어 025편(인천 10월 23일 20시 29분경 출발 → 세부, 탑승객 93명)이 인근 클라크공항으로 회항했고, 제주항공 2406편(세부 → 인천, 탑승객 177명) 지연 중이다.
또한, 24일 운항계획된 진에어 025편(인천 19시 50분경 출발 예정 → 세부) 및 에어부산 771편(부산 8시 출발 예정 → 세부)은 현지 공항 상황 등을 확인해 운항 여부를 결정할 예정이다.
