[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경상남도의회 김진부 의장 등 도의원 30여명은 25일 부산시의회에서 개최한 ‘부·울·경 시·도의회 상생 협력 합동 워크숍’에 참석해 2030부산세계박람회 유치 협조 등 각종 현안에 대해 향후 3개 시·도의회에서 함께 협력을 하기로 했다고 26일 밝혔다.
김진부 경상남도의회 의장, 안성민 부산시의회 의장, 김기환 울산시의회 의장이 함께 발표한 부·울·경 상생발전 공동 협력 선언문에는 수도권 일극체제에 대응하기 위해 민의를 대변하는 3개 시·도의회가 행정구역의 한계를 뛰어넘어 함께 협력하자느 내용이 포함됐다.
김진부 의장은 “경남, 부산, 울산은 행정구역이 구분되어 있을 뿐이지 역사, 문화, 관광 등 다양한 방면에서 가치를 공유하는 하나의 뿌리를 가지고 있다.”면서, “부울경의 역사와 문화 동질성을 공유하고 초광역 행정수요 해결과 지방 소멸 위기에 공동대응의 필요성이 대두되고 있다.”고 말했다.
