[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 전국경제인연합회 임원진과 함께 주한 주요국 대사를 초청해 한국의 기업가정신이 숨 쉬는 지수 승산마을 탐방 행사를 가졌다.
이날 행사는 지난 7월 조규일 진주시장과 허창수 전국경제인연합회장이 지수면의 발전을 위한 간담회에서 언급한 것으로, 허 회장은 주한 주요국 대사들을 인솔해 승산마을을 탐방하고 10월 축제장도 둘러봤다.
K-기업가정신센터 및 창업주 생가 등을 돌아보는 승산마을 탐방 일정에는 전경련 허창수 회장과 권태신 부회장, 배상근 전무, 김봉만 국제본부장이 함께했다.
주한 대사로는 카토스 지바오 마타이 시에라리온 대사, 딴신 미얀마 대사, 펭에란 하자 누리야 브루나이 대사, 에카테리니 루파스 그리스 대사 등 모두 7개국 대사가 참여했다.
진주시는 대한민국 대표 창업주의 기업가정신을 계승해 한국경제의 재도약을 도모하고 기업가의 사회적 책임을 실천하기 위해 ‘K-기업가정신센터’를 건립해 운영 중이다.
조규일 진주시장은 “진주는 많은 글로벌 기업가를 배출했을 뿐만 아니라 2022년 세계축제도시로 선정됐다”며“10월 축제가 한창 열려 즐거운 추억 만드시길 바란다”고 말했다.
이에 허창수 전경련 회장은 “주한 주요국 대사에게 승산마을과 진주 10월 축제를 소개하게 되어 기쁘다”며 “진주시가 다양한 분야에서 발전해 나가기를 응원한다”고 화답했다.
