[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 2022 진주국제농식품박람회가 2일 오전 테이프 커팅식을 시작으로 오는 6일까지 진행된다.
이번 박람회는 ‘농업과 함께하는 힐링 나들이’라는 슬로건으로 20개국 250개사가 참여해 8개 대형전시관에서 첨단농기계, 농기자재, 지역우수 농특산물, 해외 농식품 등을 선보인다.
또 박람회는 50개 이상의 다양한 체험 프로그램이 운영돼 풍성하고 알찬 행사로 치러질 전망이다.
진주국제농식품박람회는 지난 2011년 첫 회를 시작으로 올해 10회째를 맞아 농업의 선진화와 산업화에 크게 기여해 온 것으로 평가받고 있다.
특히 박람회는 농업 신기술을 접할 수 있는 기회를 제공하고, 도시민과 어린이들이 농업을 직접 체험하는 장을 마련해 농업인과 도시민 모두에게 큰 호응을 받아왔다.
