[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시가 ‘2022 진주국제농식품박람회’ 기간 동안 해외바이어를 대상으로 수출상담회를 갖고 농특산물, 농식품, 농기자재 등을 집중적으로 상담해 신선농산물 등 6개 분야에서 1300만 달러(약 185억 원)의 수출계약 업무협약을 체결하는 큰 성과를 거두었다.
이번 수출상담회에는 신선농산물 생산자 단체 및 가공식품업체, 건강기능식품업체, 농산물 무역회사 등 국내 50여 개 수출기업 들이 대거 참가했으며 미국, 호주, 몽골, 베트남, 아랍에미리트 등 18개국 41개사의 해외바이어들이 찾아와 그 어느 때보다 뜨거운 열기 속에 진행됐다.
상담 결과 신선농산물 300만 달러, 농산물 가공품 300만 달러 등 총 1,300만 달러의 수출계약 MOU를 체결했다.
진주시 주관으로 개최된 이번 해외바이어 초청 수출상담회는 진주시 관내 기업의 해외수출을 지원하고 중소기업 제품의 우수성을 홍보하며, 수출 유망기업과 1:1 비즈니스 상담을 통해 수출 확대 및 다변화를 도모하기 위해 마련됐다.
조규일 진주시장은 4일 수출협약식에서 “진주시는 앞으로도 해외바이어와의 협력 등 농산물 수출 시책을 적극 추진하여 해외시장 판로개척 및 농산물 수출 확대를 위해 지원을 아끼지 않을 것”이라고 말했다.
