[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 14일 중소기업 대표, 릴레이기부추진위원회(위원장 이년호), 창원YMCA(사무총장 유현석)와 함께 ‘기후위기대응과 ESG경영 실천다짐 100인 릴레이 기부’를 성공적으로 완주했다고 밝혔다.

이날 릴레이 기부에 (주)진양 대표이사 조영도(96호), (주)코텍 사장 박대근(97호), (주)지엔티 사장 성재기(98호), 우림테크(주) 대표이사 이삼연(99호), 이엠코리아(주) 대표이사 강삼수(100호)가 동참했다.

시는 그동안 창원산단 제조업 1세대, 차세대경영인, 건설업, 변호사 등 다양한 전문가와 소통하며 기후환경문제 및 기업활동 고충사항을 청취하고 있다.

기부금을 활용해 동읍·월영동 95세대내 LED등 교체와 진해구 부흥동 174세대 아파트 미니태양광을 무상설치해 취약계층의 전기사용량과 탄소배출 감축을 지원하고 있다.

제1호 기부자이며 릴레이기부 참여기업을 발굴해온 이년호 추진위원장은 “전국에서 유일하게 진행된 의미있는 릴레이가 성공적으로 마무리되어 보람을 느낀다”며 “100인의 참여자와 연결고리를 계속 어어가며 현장 목소리를 창원시정에 반영해 주기를 요청한다”고 말했다.

홍남표 시장은 “기후위기시대, 글로벌 통상환경 변화에 준비가 필요하나, 중소기업은 대책 마련을 못하고 있는 실정이다”며 “창원특례시의 시정방향인 4차 산업혁명 1번지는 AI, 디지털 산업으로 도약과 함께 탄소배출도 줄어드는 친환경 기업으로 전환하는 것으로 지속적인 행정을 하겠다”고 말했다.
