충남도가 ‘충남 일자리 선순환 체계 구축’을 위해 도내 대학·기업과 협력 강화에 나서기로 했다.
김태흠 지사는 16일 도청 대회의실에서 도내 대학, 대기업, 기업인단체 등 41개 기업·기관 대표 등이 참석한 가운데, ‘지역 대학과 기업의 상생 발전을 위한 업무협약’을 가졌다.
이번 협약은 최근 급변하는 산업 환경에서 산학관 협력을 통해 상생 발전 방안을 마련하고자 준비했다.
앞서 도는 ‘지역 대학-기업 상생협력체계 구축’을 민선 8기 역점과제로 선정하고 지속적인 협의를 추진해 왔다.
협약에는 도와 26개 대학 6개 기업인단체, 8개 대기업, 다국적기업인 SAP코리아가 참여했다.
협약에 따라 도는 △산·학·관 상생협의체 운영 지원 △대학 계약학과 및 기업 아카데미 운영 지원을, 대학은 △계약학과 설치·운영 △재학생의 아카데미 참여 지원을, 기업은 △아카데미 등의 프로그램 운영 △계약학과와 일자리 창출 활성화 노력 등을 추진한다.
대기업이 운영하는 ‘디지털 아카데미’를 도내 신설해 운영할 예정이다. 다국적기업 SAP코리아와 마이크로소프트(Microsoft), 국내 기업 KT가 참여하기로 했다.
또 대학과 협업해 교육부 공모 조기취업형 계약학과를 적극적으로 유치하고 대학 내 채용조건형 및 재교육형 계약학과를 추가 설치하는 등 도내 대학에 계약학과를 확산시킬 예정이다.
아울러 도는 현재 운영 중인 대학, 기업, 도 관계 전문가 등으로 구성한 실무협의체를 통해 협력사업도 지속 발굴하고 대학과 기업이 상생할 수 있는 단계별 이행안(로드맵)도 마련할 계획이다.
이 자리에서 김 지사는 “인재 확보는 기업의 경쟁력이자 지역 경제 성장의 밑거름”이라며 “인재 양성, 지역 소재 기업에 채용, 지역 정주로 이어지는 선순환 체계가 만들어질 때 대학과 기업의 경쟁력은 증대되고 지역사회의 성장과 발전이 이뤄질 것”이라고 강조했다.
