[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] BNK경남은행은 지방은행 최초로 ‘안전보건경영시스템(ISO45001) 인증’을 획득했다고 7일 밝혔다.
안전보건경영시스템(ISO45001)은 사업장 내 위험 요인과 산업재해를 예방하기 위한 제도로 국제표준기구(ISO)가 2018년 제정한 안전보건에 관한 최고 수준의 국제인증이다.
BNK경남은행은 사업장내 작업환경에서 근로자와 고객에게 미칠 수 있는 사고와 위험성을 예방하고 최소화할 수 있도록 안전보건방침과 목표를 정하고 ▲추진계획 수립 ▲구축 교육 및 진단 ▲안전보건경영시스템 실행ㆍ검토ㆍ평가 등을 통해 시스템을 구축했다.
이에 따라 안전보건경영시스템 구축 및 운영 상태가 ISO45001의 요구사항에 부합해 심사 목적을 달성했다.
최홍영 은행장은 “전 세계적인 화두로 떠오른 ESG경영과 사회적 이슈인 중대재해 처벌법은 많은 기업들에게 그 책임과 역할을 다 할 것을 주문하고 있다. 안전보건경영시스템(ISO45001) 인증 획득을 통해 안전한 작업환경을 지속적으로 확보하고 ESG경영 실천에 대한 사회적 책임을 다해 나갈 것이다”고 전했다.
