[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 홍남표 창원특례시장은 20일 진해 이순신리더십 국제센터에서 ‘2022 창원특례시 장애인체육상 시상식’을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번 시상식은 올 한해 창원시 장애인체육 발전을 위해 노력한 유공자 37명(시장 표창 15, 시의회의장 표창 7, 창원시장애인체육회장 표창 15)을 격려하고 감사의 뜻을 전하기 위해 마련됐다.
특히, 이번 유공자들은 제25회 경남장애인생활체육대회 종합 우승, 제1회 창원특례시장배 장애인생활체육대회 성공 개최 등 창원시 장애인체육 위상 제고에 이바지했다는 점에서 그 공로를 인정받았다.
이날 행사에 참석한 수상자들과 축하객 100여 명은 그간의 노고를 격려하고 서로 축하하면서, 2022년 한 해를 마무리하는 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌다.
