브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 롯데건설이 ‘지역사회와 함께 성장하는 나눔경영’ 실천의 일환으로 초록우산어린이재단, 광진구청과 협업해 ‘행복한지역아동센터’의 시설 개선을 지원했다.
롯데건설은 이를 기념하기 위해 지난 20일 서울 광진구에 위치한 ‘행복한지역아동센터’에서 ‘꿈과 희망의 러브하우스 34호점’ 기증판 전달식을 가졌다. 기증판 전달식에는 롯데건설 공성태 상무와 초록우산어린이재단 차동범 나눔사업팀장, 광진구청 강선경 아동청소년과장, 행복한지역아동센터 김지연 센터장이 참석한 가운데 진행됐다.
롯데건설은 이번 시설 개선 활동을 통해 아이들이 쾌적한 환경에서 안전하게 지낼 수 있도록 전체적인 리모델링 공사를 진행했다. 도배, 장판, 창문 공사뿐만 아니라, 평소 아이들이 센터를 이용하며 불편했던 점에 초점을 맞춰 난방 공사, 화장실 공사, 공부방 공간 조성 등을 진행했다.
총 6000만 원의 규모로 진행된 이번 사회공헌활동의 재원은 롯데건설 임직원이 급여의 일정 금액을 사회에 기부하면 해당 기부금의 3배의 금액을 회사가 함께 기부하는 ‘1대 3 매칭 그랜트 제도’로 마련됐다.
롯데건설 관계자는 “건설업의 특성을 살린 재능 기부로 어려운 이웃들에게 더 나은 주거 환경을 지원하고자 ‘꿈과 희망을 주는 러브하우스’ 사회공헌 활동을 시작했다”며 “겨울방학을 앞두고 아이들이 쾌적하고 따뜻한 환경에서 생활할 수 있게 돼 기쁘다”고 말했다.
