[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 홍남표 창원특례시장은 올해 마지막 날인 31일 마산합포구 불종거리에서 ‘2023년 새해맞이 제야의 종 타종식’을 울렸다.
이날 ‘불종거리 2023년 새해맞이 제야의 종 타종식’에는 홍남표 창원특례시장과 윤한홍 국회의원, 최형두 국회의원, 김이근 창원시의회 의장을 비롯한 시·도의원, 기관단체장, 시민 등 500여 명이 참석했다.

타종행사는 홍남표 창원특례시장, 최형두 국회의원, 윤한홍 국회의원, 김이근 시의회 의장을 시작으로 창원시 각계각층을 대표하는 44명이 총 33번의 타종식을 펼치며 시민들의 안녕과 번영을 기원하였다.
타종식에 참석한 홍남표 시장과 윤한홍 의원, 최형두 의원은 한목소리로 새해에는 모든 경제 지표가 불황을 가리키고 있다. 하지만 103만 시민들이 똘똘 뭉친다면 이 또한 이겨내지 못할 일이 아니다며 희망을 전달했다.
