경남도는 2023년 5대 도정운영방향인 ▲기회의 땅 경남 ▲성장하는 경남 ▲즐거운 경남 ▲믿음직한 경남 ▲품격있는 경남을 통해 도민들이 보다 나은 삶의 질 향상을 위한 계획을 밝혔다.

박 지사는 이어진 기자들의 질의에서 "경남도는 1조1천억 원 정도의 빚이 있는데, 지난해 900억 원의빚을 상환했으며, 올해도 900억 원을 상환할 계획을 가지고 있다"고 말하고 "매년 2500억 원의 지방채를 발행했지만, 올해는 지방채를 발행하지 않았다. 하지만 도정에 필요하다면 지방채를 발행해서라도 도민들의 윤택한 삶을 위한 정책을 펴나가겠다"고 밝혔다.
