울진군청 또는 울진군종합자원봉사센터 홈페이지에 게시된 신청서를 작성하여 자원봉사센터에 방문하거나 팩스, 이메일, 우편을 통해 지원할 수 있다.
선발된 자원봉사자는 기본 소양 교육과 현장 적응 교육 등을 거쳐 분야별 현장에 배치된다. 도민체육대회 기간 동안 상해보험에 가입되며, 유니폼을 제공하고, 식비·교통비 등의 실비가 지급된다.
