안양과천교육지원청(교육장 김경관)이 지난 2월 9일~10일, 곤지암리조트에서 ‘2023 안양과천 학교교육과정 담당자 워크숍’을 개최했다.
이번 워크숍은 2022년 안양과천교육과정위원회 협의 결과를 바탕으로 학교교육과정 담당자의 교육정책 이해 및 교육과정 설계 역량 강화를 위한 프로그램으로 구성, 이번 워크숍을 통해 학교교육과정 담당자가 학생의 삶과 앎을 연결하는 교육과정을 운영할 수 있도록 지원했다. 됐다.

워크숍에 참여한 한 부장교사는 “미래교육에 대한 담론, 새롭게 바뀌는 교육정책에 대해 막연한 불안감을 가지고 있었는데, 워크숍에 참여하면서 많이 해소됐다. 학교교육과정 운영 방향을 잡는 데 큰 도움이 됐다”고 말했다.
김경관 교육장은 “학생들이 꿈대로 결대로 미래를 열어나갈 수 있도록 지원하려면 학습자 주도성에 기반한 맞춤형 교육과 평가가 수반되어야 하며, 교육과정 담당교사의 철학과 역량이 제고되도록 적극적으로 지원되어야 한다. 이번 워크숍이 이러한 계기가 되기를 바란다”고 전했다.
