[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 농림축산식품부에서 주관하는 2022년 농촌협약 내 대상사업으로 계획한 농촌공간정비사업에 함안군 2개 지구(칠서면 이룡지구·칠북면 화천지구)가 최종 확정됐다.
농촌공간정비사업은 지역 내 축사, 공장, 태양광, 빈집 등 환경피해를 유발하고 농촌경관을 훼손하는 유해시설을 철거 또는 이전해, 주거환경 및 농촌경관을 개선하고 장기적으로 농촌공간의 재구획을 도모하기 위한 사업이다.
2개 지구의 총 사업비는 203억 원(국비 50%, 도비 15%, 군비 35%)으로 사업기간은 2023년부터 2027년까지 5년간이다.
칠서면 이룡지구에는 사업비 78억 원이 투입되며 강나루 오토캠핑장 맞은편 양계장 1개소를 철거해 주민 휴게마당 및 주차장 등이 조성된다.

칠북면 화천지구에는 사업비 125억 원이 투입되며, 마을과 공장 인근 돈사 1개소를 철거한 후 임대형 주거시설 및 소규모 체육시설 등이 조성될 예정이다.
이로써 함안군은 2022년 농촌공간정비사업(2차) 개별 공모에 선정돼 현재 기본계획 수립 중에 있는 가야읍 가야지구와 이번에 확정된 2개 지구를 합해 총 3개 지구의 농촌공간정비사업을 추진하게 된다.
