[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 한겨울 동안 운영이 중단됐던 용지호수공원 무빙보트가 오는 3월 1일부터 다시 운영에 들어간다고 밝혔다.
창원 용지호수공원 무빙보트는 노를 젓지 않아도 원하는 방향으로 이동할 수 있는 전기충전식 보트로 최대 8명까지 탑승할 수 있다.
창원시가 민간투자를 유치해 2017년부터 운영 중이다.
시는 겨울 추위로 무빙보트 체험객이 감소하는 지난 11월부터 2월까지 운영을 일시 중단했고 이 기간 동안 무빙보트에 대한 안전점검 및 시설물 정비를 했다.
최근 추위가 물러가고 포근한 날씨가 이어지면서 용지호수공원을 찾는 사람들이 많아지는 가운데 오는 3월 1일부터 다시 체험객을 맞이한다.
이용 요금은 4인 기준 30분에 2만원으로 탑승 인원 및 시간에 따라 다르게 받는다.
반려동물 동반 탑승도 가능하다.
운행 시간은 오전 10시부터 오후 10시까지 월·화는 휴무다.
김종문 관광과장은 “도심 속 휴식처인 용지호수공원에서 무빙보트를 타고 환상적인 음악분수도 감상하면서 바쁜 일상 속 잠시나마 여유와 힐링을 만끽하시길 바란다”고 말했다.
