세종교육청이 학교회계 집행률 2년 연속 전국 1위를 차지해 내년도 30억 원의 보통교부금 성과급을 받게 됐다.
6일 시 교육청에 따르면 세종교육청은 자체 집행목표율(98.5% 이상)을 수립하고, 적극 집행을 추진한 결과 당초 목표치를 초과 달성(0.8%p)해 전국 17개 시도교육청에서 1위를 달성하는 성과를 거뒀다.
그동안 새종교육청은 조직예산과 예산2담당에서는 관내 164개 학교의 월별 집행계획과 추진상황을 점검하며 현장의 애로사항을 파악하고 개선과제를 발굴하기 위해 노력해왔다.
집행률 목표치에 미달하는 학교를 현장 방문하여 교(원)장, 교(원)감, 행정실장과 현안사항을 협의하고 일선학교의 어려움을 본청 사업부서에 전달해 개선하는 등 실질적인 지원을 했다
또 예산2담당은 K-에듀파인 연수, 교육연구회, 소소한 학교회계 배움 등 학교회계 운영 및 학교회계 업무매뉴얼을 제작·배포하는 등 학교현장 지원에 앞장서 왔다는 게 교육청 관계자의 설명이다.
앞서 세종교육청은 교특회계 신속 집행 목표 달성으로 성과급 60억 원을 확보한 바 있으며, 이번 학교회계 집행률 97% 이상 달성해 내년도 예산에 30억 원을 추가로 확보할 수 있게 됐다.
