국가철도공단은 30일 공단 본사에서 엄경일 한국서부발전(주) 기술안전본부장, 이중호 한국전력공사 전력연구원장 등이 참석한 가운데, 전기설비 개폐장치 등에 절연가스로 사용하고 있는 SF6(육불화황)가스를 친환경적으로 처리하기 위해 “SF6 무해화 기술 공동 활용” 업무협약을 체결했다.
