서양화가 손은영 작가가 오는 4월 6일부터 서울 광진구 '빛의 라운지 카페'에서 개인전을 개최한다.
손은영 작가의 이번 개인전은 관객들에게 티타임도 즐기고, 갤러리에서 작품도 보고, 주말, 지친 일상 속에 한 점의 여유를 더한 힐링의 시간을 선사할 예정이다.
손은영 작가는 현대인들이 겪는 심리적 갈등과 불안함을 강렬한, 혹은 온화한 색채를 사용해 작품으로 표현하는 것이 특징이다. 특히, 집과 눈의 형상을 통해 슬픔과 그리움의 메시지를 전달하고 있으며, 다양한 심리적 소재를 통해 인간의 내면을 재해석해 꾸준히 작업에 반영하고 있다. 더불어 손은영 작가는 시간적 요소와 무관하게 동심의 세계를 이끌어내어 화폭에 담는 작업을 해 오고 있으며, 유년시절 아버지와의 행복했던 추억을 통해 사람들이 겪고 있는 외로움을 따뜻하게 어루만지며 작품에 담아내고자 작업을 이어오고 있다. 손은영 작가는 홍익대 미술대학원 석사를 졸업, (현)서울미술협회 부이사장을 겸임하며 작가로서의 활동을 활발히 이어오고 있다.
손은영 작가는 이번 전시에 대해 "무의식 속 상상력과 우연을 통한 본질적인 창조적 요인에 기인하는 형태와 색채를 화폭에 담아낸 작품을 감상하며 따뜻하고 찬란했던 봄을 추억해 볼 수 있는 전시회가 될 것"이라고 전했다.

Son Eun-young is characterized by expressing the psychological conflicts and anxiety experienced by modern people in her work using strong or gentle colors.
