브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 기아가 전국 중학생들을 대상으로 진행되는 ‘기아 인스파이어링 클래스 – 미래테크 진로탐구’ 모집을 오는 19일까지 진행한다.
올해 7회를 맞이한 기아 ‘굿 모빌리티 캠페인’ 일환으로 지난해에 이어 2번째 모집하는 ‘기아 인스파이어링 클래스 – 미래테크 진로탐구’는 청소년 진로교육 사회공헌 프로그램으로 모빌리티 기업으로 탈바꿈하고 있는 기아의 특성에 맞게 미래테크 분야 개념교육과 실습을 통해 학습할 수 있도록 마련된 교육 프로그램이다.
이번에 진행되는 미래테크 수업은 △메타버스 △AI △드론 △3D프린팅 △양자컴퓨터 △아두이노 6가지 과목 중 선정된 학교에서 원하는 과목을 선택할 수 있다. 교육은 각 과목에 관한 기본 지식교육 및 실습과 이와 관련된 진로직업 탐구로 진행된다.
‘기아 인스파이어링 클래스 – 미래테크 진로탐구’는 미래테크 부문 진로 탐색 기회 제공 및 지방권 학생들의 진로교육 불평등의 사회적인 문제 해결을 위해 지방 및 도서산간지역 학생 우선으로 프로그램이 운영될 예정이다.
기아 관계자는 “올해 더 많은 학생들을 대상으로 미래테크 분야 수업을 진행할 수 있는 기회가 마련됐다”며 “청소년들이 다양한 교육 기회를 제공받을 수 있도록 지속적인 프로그램을 준비할 것이다”고 말했다.
한편, 기아는 청소년들의 자립을 테마로 중장기적 관점에서 ‘진로쌤’, ‘유스버스’, ‘판교테크노밸리 진로투어’ 등 다양한 프로그램을 운영하고 있다. 이번 프로그램은 사단법인 ‘드림커넥트’와 함께 진행하며 전국 중학교(60개 학급) 1400명을 대상으로 모집한다.
