브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 국내 상장 중견기업 715곳을 이끄는 최고경영자(CEO) 981명 중 오너 일가의 비중이 절반(47.9%)에 육박한 것으로 나타났다. 같은 기간 국내 500대 기업 상장사의 총수 일가 비중이 20%가 채 되지 않는 것과 대비된다.
특히, 최고령 대표이사와 최연소 대표이사는 고은희 대림통상 회장(89세)과, 임동연 가온미디어 사장(26세)으로 모두 오너 일가로 조사됐다.
12일 CEO스코어에 따르면 지난 7일 기준 국내 상장 중견기업 715곳의 현직 대표이사 현황을 분석한 결과, 공동·각자대표를 포함한 총 981명 중 470명(47.9%)이 오너 일가였다.
500대 기업 상장사 269곳의 대표이사 396명 중 오너 일가가 78명(19.7%)인 것과 비교하면 28.2%p 높다.
단, 올해 신규로 선임된 82명의 대표이사 중 전문경영인이 63명(76.8%)으로 나타나, 중견기업의 경영 체제가 오너 경영에서 전문 경영으로 변화하고 있는 것으로 풀이된다.
상장 중견기업의 전문경영인 511명 중 156명(30.5%)은 대표이사 선임일 기준 해당 기업의 재직기간이 5년 이하인 외부 출신이다. 355명(69.5%)은 내부승진을 통해 대표이사직에 올랐다.
외부 영입 대표이사 중 73명(46.8%)은 5대 그룹 출신이다. 삼성그룹 출신이 44명(28.2%)으로 가장 많았으며, 현대자동차그룹 17명(10.9%), LG그룹 8명(5.1%) 순으로 비중이 높았다. SK그룹은 3명(1.9%), 롯데그룹은 1명(0.6%)이다.
