[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시와 수소충전소 운영기관인 ㈜진주수소충전소는 오는 16일부터 수소차 충전요금을 1kg당 8000원에서 9400원으로 인상한다고 밝혔다.
㈜진주수소충전소는 서진주IC 인근(판문로 194)에 위치해 연중무휴 운영 중이며, 시간당 승용차 10대의 충전이 가능한 시설이다.
시는 수소차 보급 초기 정부의 친환경차 보급 확대 정책에 부응하고 시민 불편 최소화를 위해 지난 2021년 4월부터 운영해 수소 충전요금을 8000원으로 유지하며 요금 인상을 최대한 억제해 왔다.
