[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 전국 최고의 해양관광도시로 자리매김하고 있는 경남 사천에 장구의 신 ‘박서진길’이 생긴다.
사천시는 트롯가수로 전국적인 유명세와 스타로 성장 중인 박서진의 발자취를 찾는 팬과 관광객이 늘어남에 따라 관광활성화와 지역홍보를 위해 박서진길을 조성할 계획이라고 전했다.
시에서 추진하고 있는 박서진길은 삼천포항 공영주차장~용궁수산시장~서부시장~청널공원 앞~ 삼천포대교공원~실안 선창~산분령 북측까지 총 5.8㎞ 구간이다.
박서진길은 법정도로명이 아닌 명예도로명으로서 5년간 사용할 수 있으며 연장이 가능하다.
시는 4월말까지 박서진길 부여에 대한 공고 및 주민의견을 수렴한 뒤 5월 중에 주소정보위원회 심의, 심의결과 공고 안내물 설치 등의 절차를 진행할 예정이다.
박서진길 선포식은 6월 중으로 예정돼 있다.
특히 관광객들이 박서진길을 쉽게 찾을 수 있도록 양방향에 명예도로 안내표지판을 설치하는 것은 물론 스토리보드, 포토존, 태양광 로고라이트 등 특색 있는 조형물을 설치한다.
장구의 신, 박서진은 2023년 4월 트롯가수 브랜드 평판 11위이며 포털사이트 팬카페 랭킹순위 2위로 팬덤층이 강하다.
