울진군, 경로당 입식문화 및 활성화 물품지원

【브레이크뉴스 울진】이우근 기자=울진군(군수 손병복)은 지역 경로당 내에 입식 문화 환경을 조성하고 경로당 안전 편의 시설 및 경로당 활성화 물품 지원사업을 실시한다고 10일 밝혔다.

군에 따르면 이번 사업은 민원 소통의 날‘군민 섬김 데이’운영과 함께 평소에 경로당 어르신들의 불편 사항을 청취하고 경로당 내에 여가생활 편의성 및 안전한 경로당 운영을 위해 추진됐다.

울진군은 입식문화 조성으로 소파, 테이블 의자 등을 지원하고, 안전 건강 증진 위해 안전바 설치 등, 경로당 운영 활성화를 위해 TV, 냉장고, 에어컨, 청소기 등을 지원할 예정이며, 올해 상반기까지 등록 경로당 247개소에 지원 완료할 방침이다.

장명옥 사회복지과장은“경로당 입식 문화 및 활성화 물품 지원으로 편하고 쾌적한 공간에서 식사와 담소를 나눌 수 있도록 해 어르신들의 경로당 이용 만족도가 대폭 향상될 것으로 기대된다”며“앞으로도 경로당을 편안하게 이용할 수 있도록 환경을 개선하고 필요한 물품이 신속히 지원될 수 있도록 노력하겠다”라고 말했다.

한편 울진군은 경로당 입식 환경조성 및 활성화 물품 지원사업 외에도 경로당 신축·개보수, 냉난방비 지원, 양곡 지원, 운영비·부식비 지원, 미등록 경로당 운영 지원 등 다양한 노인복지 사업을 펼치고 있다.
