한국타이어 봉사단이 취약계층 가정에 LED 조명 교체 사업을 진행했다.
11일 한국타이어에 따르면 봉사단은 지난 10일 대전시 대덕구내 장애인 등 취약계층 가정을 방문해 재능기부 활동을 전개했다
한국타이어 임직원들의 자발적 참여와 재능기부로 진행되는 이번 사업은 매월 독거노인 및 장애인 가정 등을 직접 방문, 가정 내 노후화 된 백열등이나 형광등을 고효율 LED 조명으로 무상 교체했다.
또 거동이 불편한 가정에는 무선 리모콘을 설치해 편의를 높였다.
한국타이어 관계자는 “밝아진 집안 분위기 때문에 즐거워하는 분들을 보면서 큰 보람을 느낀다”며 “에너지 취약계층 가정을 대상으로 LED 조명 교체, 콘센트, 배전반 등 전기시설 교체, 소방감지기 교체 및 도배 및 장판 교체 지원 등 다양한 지원을 펼쳐나갈 계획”이라고 말했다.
