KT&G가 차세대 뮤지션을 꿈꾸는 전국 대학생을 대상으로 ‘상상유니브 집현전 2023’ 참가자를 오는 7월 11일까지 모집한다.
대학생 뮤지션 발굴 지원 프로그램인 ‘상상유니브 집현전’은 KT&G가 지난 2020년부터 음악에 대한 열정과 재능을 갖춘 대학생들이 미래의 뮤지션으로 성장할 수 있도록 지원하고 있다.
지난해에는 총 391개 팀, 4784명의 대학생이 참여해 치열한 경쟁을 벌였으며, 관련 유튜브 영상 누적 조회수는 총 127만 회에 달한다.
집현전 참가를 원하는 대학생은 장르 구분 없이 창작곡 또는 재해석곡을 담은 영상 파일을 상상유니브 홈페이지를 통해 접수하면 된다. 이번 집현전은 예년과 다르게 지역별로 참가자를 모집하며 결선 무대도 서울·대전·창원 3개 권역에서 각각 열린다.
참가팀 모집은 대학 소재지에 따라 구분되며 지역별 예선과 권역별 본선을 거쳐 권역별 각 10개팀, 총 30개 팀이 최종 선정된다.
예선과 본선은 영상심사를 통해 진행되며 심사위원으로 ‘짙은’, ‘김주환’, ‘미스티’ 등이 참여한다. 최종 선정된 30개 팀은 심사위원들의 1:1 멘토링과 전문밴드와의 합주 무대 등을 통해 실력 향상 기회를 얻게 된다.
멘토링 이후 9월에는 권역별 결선 진출팀들의 최종 경연 무대가 서울·대전·창원 3곳에서 각각 열린다. 최종 순위는 경연 당일 심사위원단 평가와 청중 평가단의 평가를 더해 결정되며, 권역별 1위팀에게는 200만원, 2위 100만원, 3위 50만원 등 총 1,800만원의 상금이 수여된다.

‘Sangsang Univ Ziphyeonjeon’, a support program for discovering college student musicians, has been supported by KT&G since 2020 so that college students with passion and talent for music can grow into future musicians.
