30일 울진군(군수 손병복)에 따르면 이번 행사는 사)한국예술문화단체총연합회 울진지회 주관으로 산하 미술협회, 사진협회, 연예인협회, 국악협회, 음악협회의 예술인들이 참여한 가운데 진행된다.
축제 기간 울진연호문화센터에서는 미술·사진협회가 주축이 되어 그림, 사진, 서예, 공예 등 울진의 다양한 작품으로 군민들의 예술적 감수성을 깨우기 위한 전시회가 열린다.
또한 연호공원 야외무대에서는 1일 저녁 7시부터 예술제 개막을 알리는 동아리페스티발을 시작으로 2일에는 예술제 개막식과 개막공연, 그리고 보령예술단체의 국악, 노래, 연주 등 축하공연이 펼쳐진다.
